The methods at a glance

On zyftt.com, logo application is a flat ₹50 per piece added at checkout on every product that can be branded (not food items), and the exact method is confirmed on the digital proof you approve before production.

Screen printing

Ink pushed through a stencil, one colour per screen. It is the cheapest way to put a one- or two-colour logo on hundreds of t-shirts, jute bags or notebook covers, and it holds up well. It is not the method for gradients, photographs or logos with more than three colours — each extra colour is an extra screen and extra cost.

UV and digital printing

A printer lays full-colour ink directly onto a hard surface and cures it with UV light. This is how bottles, pens, power banks, speakers and gift boxes get a full-colour logo, and it is the most flexible method for small quantities because there is no set-up per colour. On curved surfaces the print area is limited to the flatter band of the product; the proof shows exactly where it lands.

Laser engraving

The laser removes the surface coating or etches the metal itself, leaving the logo in the underlying tone — silver on a powder-coated steel bottle, dark on wood or anodised aluminium. It is permanent, it looks premium, and it is the standard for steel drinkware, metal pens and crystal or metal awards. The trade-off is one tone only: your logo is rendered without colour, so send a simple version of it.

Embroidery

Thread stitched into fabric. Embroidery is the right call for polos, shirts, hoodies, caps and bag panels: it feels premium, survives every wash and is the method most people associate with a company uniform. Cost rises with stitch count, so a 9 cm chest logo is economical and a full back panel is not. Very fine text below about 5 mm does not embroider legibly — simplify the logo or drop the tagline.

Sublimation

Dye is heat-transferred into a polymer coating or polyester fabric, so the image becomes part of the surface rather than sitting on it. It is how full-colour mugs are made, and how dry-fit sports polos get all-over prints. It does not work on cotton or on uncoated metal.

Embossing, debossing and foil

A metal die presses the logo into leather or PU (debossing) or raises it (embossing); foil stamping adds a metallic layer in the same press. These are the notebook, wallet and gift-box methods, and the quietest form of branding — a tone-on-tone logo on a journal cover reads as quality rather than advertising.

What artwork to send

  • A vector file: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. A PNG or JPEG can be traced but adds a day and can lose detail.
  • Pantone or CMYK values for brand colours; "the blue on our website" is not a colour spec.
  • A single-colour version of the logo for engraving and one-colour prints.
  • Any placement preferences (left chest, sleeve, back yoke; front panel of the bag). If none, the proof shows the standard placement.

How the digital proof works

Once the order is confirmed, a mockup of your logo on the exact product — placement, size, method, colour — is emailed within 24 hours. Nothing is printed until you approve it or ask for changes. This is the step that catches the wrong Pantone, the tagline that will not embroider, and the logo that is too wide for the bottle; use it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does logo branding cost on Zyftt?+

₹50 per piece, added at checkout, on every brandable product; the method (print, engraving, embroidery) is confirmed on your digital proof.

Can we get a full-colour logo on a steel bottle?+

Yes, with UV printing. Laser engraving gives a permanent single-tone logo instead; both are shown on the proof so you can choose.

What file format should the logo be?+

Vector — AI, EPS, SVG or PDF — with Pantone or CMYK colour values. Send a one-colour version as well for engraving.

Is there a set-up charge?+

No separate set-up charge is listed on zyftt.com; the per-piece logo application fee covers it. Bespoke methods or multi-position branding are quoted through the enquiry form.
